Purging your night-vision unit removes trapped moisture and air from inside the housing, replacing it with dry nitrogen. This prevents internal fogging, corrosion, and lens haze. Especially during temperature or humidity changes. Regular purging helps keep your optics crystal-clear, protects sensitive components, and ensures your device performs reliably in any environment.
Simple Service Process
1. Purchase the Service
Select and purchase your desired Purging or Full Service package directly through our website.
2. Prepare and Ship Your Unit
After ordering, carefully package your night-vision device for safe transport.
You are fully responsible for shipping your unit to NoxWorks, including any insurance, tracking, or loss cover during transit.
Remove all batteries before dispatching.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service.
3. Service & Purging
Upon receipt, your device will undergo the selected service:
Purge Only: The device will be professionally purged and re-sealed (unit will not be opened).
Full Service / Dust Removal: The device will be opened, inspected, cleaned of internal dust, reassembled, and operated for 20 minutes to confirm full functionality.
Progress photos will be provided during the process.
4. Insured Return Shipping
Once complete, your optimised and sealed device will be securely packaged and returned using insured shipping.
All outbound shipments from NoxWorks are covered for loss and damage up to £10,000
