The MGA. If there's a specific device you could trust to be dropped from a plane and have it survive... the AB MGA is the number one pick. (Yes they have done this).
Based on the RNVG-A the MGA introduces manual gain to the Ultra-Rugged platform. We see this housing as the full feature 'flagship' housing, sitting at the top of out AB Night Vision offerings. In typical AB fashion the device is machine billeted from, thicker than need, 7075-T6 aluminum to create this supremely ruggedised housing.
Controls - Simplistic familiar, single knob operated for On/Off, turning on at full gain and dimming with further rotation. A separate fenced button toggles the IR illuminator.
