  • U.N.V.M "Talon" | Nocturn Industries

    U.N.V.M "Talon" | Nocturn Industries

    U.N.V.M "Talon" | Nocturn Industries

Sale price  £3,775.00 Regular price  £4,440.00

    The lightest mil-spec option?
The Talon strips night vision back to what matters. Its housing weighs just 53 g, half the weight of a standard PVS-14, and the complete monocular comes in at 274 g with standard optics, or 217 g with RPO lenses. It’s light enough to wear all night and small enough to carry anywhere.

Everything runs from a single knob. Press and hold to switch on, turn to adjust gain, double-tap for the IR illuminator (an indicator in the eyepiece confirms it’s on), and single-tap to turn the IR off. There’s nothing else to learn, which makes the Talon an ideal first device as well as a dependable go-to.

It runs on a CR123A for 40+ hours, with AA and CR2 caps on an onboard lanyard so you can use whatever batteries you have. It fits standard PVS-14 J-arms, so your existing mounts carry straight over. And if you move up to a binocular later, the Talon’s tube pod is cross-compatible with the Nocturn Raptor.

    Who it’s for

    • First-time buyers: the simplest, lightest way into proper night vision.
    • Upgrading from a PVS-14: keep your J-arm, lose half the housing weight.
    • Travelling light: small enough for a jacket pocket
    • Planning ahead: start with a monocular and share its pod with a Raptor binocular later.

    KEY FEATURES

    • 53 g carbon-fibre composite housing, half the weight of a standard PVS-14
    • Single-knob control: power, gain and IR in one
    • Onboard IR illuminator with an in-view indicator
    • CR123A power with AA and CR2 caps included, stored on an onboard lanyard
    • 40+ hours of runtime
    • Fits standard PVS-14 J-arms
    • Tube pod cross-compatible with the Nocturn Raptor
    • Built-in high-light shut-off
    • Submersible to 20 m, MIL-STD-810H impact rated

    Lens: RPO 4.0 / NVD-N
This build uses the RPO 4.0 / NVD-N lenses, similar to Nocturns US BINOD Contract configuration. Because every part is a known, manufacturer-matched combination, we can stand behind it with our 10-year workmanship guarantee. The fit, sealing and part alignment are exactly as intended, so the build stays reliable for years.

  • RVM-14

    RVM-14

    RVM-14

Sale price  £3,745.00 Regular price  £3,940.00

    The Monocular That Doesn’t Quit

AB Night Vision has a reputation for building devices that take serious punishment, and the RVM-14 is the most compact way to get it. Machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminium, waterproof to 20 m and MIL-STD-810H drop tested, it’s built to take a lifetime of hard use. It still weighs around 15% less than a standard polymer PVS-14.

It’s straightforward to use. One rotary knob switches it on and controls gain: it powers up at full brightness and dims as you turn further. The IR illuminator has its own push button, guarded by a raised fence so it doesn’t switch on by accident in a pocket or pouch. A single CR123A runs it for over 70 hours, so battery changes become a rare event.

Manual gain control requires an MGC-compatible tube. Check the tube options above when configuring your build.

    Who it’s for

    • Anyone wanting a compact, all-metal monocular that will last
    • First-time buyers who want a dependable device without the bulk of a binocular
    • Users who need long battery life between changes

    KEY FEATURES

    • Machined 7075-T6 aluminium housing
    • Waterproof to 20 m, MIL-STD-810H drop tested
    • Around 15% lighter than a polymer PVS-14
    • 70+ hours from a single CR123A
    • Single-knob on/off and gain control
    • Fenced IR illuminator button to prevent accidental use
    • IR and low-battery indicators
    • Takes MX-11769 format tubes

    Lens: Noctis “Fujinon”

AB builds are made for full performance, not for shaving weight. This is the combination the manufacturer designed to work together, so you get the image quality and durability the system was built for, without compromise.

Because the lens is the manufacturer’s recommended choice, we know exactly how the system fits, seals and performs. That’s why we back it with our 10-year workmanship guarantee.

  • RPNVG

    RPNVG

    RPNVG

    £10,510.00

    Binocular depth. Panoramic reach.

A standard binocular gives you 40° of view. The RPNVG can give you up to 65°. Its panning bridge lets each pod swing outwards so their views overlap less and spread wider, giving you far more of the scene at once and less need to keep turning your head. Pan back in for a full, overlapping binocular image when you want maximum depth perception.

In typical AB fashion, it’s built to take a beating. The housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, and every point of articulation has been reinforced for impact resistance, making it one of the toughest panning housings available. Controls are just two buttons, one for power and one for the IR illuminator, each guarded by a raised fence so neither switches on by accident.

    Who it’s for

    • Users who want a wider view without stepping up to a four-tube panoramic
    • Anyone wanting the toughness of a machined aluminium binocular
    • Those who value simple, glove-friendly controls

    KEY FEATURES

    • Panning bridge: adjustable field of view from 40° to 65°
    • Machined 7075-T6 aluminium construction
    • Reinforced articulation points for impact resistance
    • Two-button operation, with fenced buttons to prevent accidental activation
    • Onboard IR illuminator
    • CR123A onboard power, or external pack via LEMO port
    • Waterproof to 20 m
    • Built-in dovetail mount

  • MGA

    MGA

    MGA

    £10,715.00

Tough enough to trust. Easy to adjust

The MGA takes AB’s proven RNVG-A and adds the one thing experienced users ask for most: manual gain. That makes it the flagship of the AB range, a binocular built to take serious abuse that also lets you fine-tune the image to the conditions in front of you.

AB machine the housing from 7075-T6 aluminium and deliberately make it thicker than it needs to be, so it’s built for a working life rather than a weekend. Control is simple: one knob switches it on at full gain, and turning further dims the image as conditions brighten. The IR illuminator has its own button, fenced to prevent accidental use. On a single CR123A it runs for around 30 hours.

Manual gain control requires an MGC-compatible tube. Check the tube options above when configuring your build.

    Who it’s for

    • Experienced users who want manual gain in a ruggedised housing
    • Anyone who prefers AB’s heavy-duty build over lighter polymer options
    • Users who move between very dark and brighter, urban light conditions

    KEY FEATURES

    • Manual gain control on AB’s articulating ruggedised platform
    • Billet-machined 7075-T6 aluminium, deliberately over-built
    • Single-knob power and gain
    • Fenced IR illuminator button
    • In-view IR and low-battery indicators
    • Wide interpupillary range: 47 mm to over 80 mm
    • Around 30 hours on one CR123A
    • Submersible to 20 m

  • U.A.N.V.B "Katana"

    U.A.N.V.B "Katana"

An Affordable Entry At A Professional Standard

The Katana is the easiest way into proper binocular night vision. It’s light, simple and dependable, and it’s our most affordable binocular build. You get true two-eyed depth perception and comfort without paying for features you may never use.

At 495 g with optics and battery, it’s the lightest binocular we build, and you’ll notice the difference by the end of a long night. Each pod flips up and switches off on its own, then returns to your exact eye spacing when you flip it down, thanks to the patented friction-lock adjustment. Controls are kept to the minimum, so it’s quick to learn and just as quick to trust.

Its carbon-fibre-reinforced composite body rivals 6061-T6 aluminium in strength, and it’s sealed against dust and water. A single CR123A runs it for around 25 hours, with a LEMO port for an external pack when you need more.

    Who it’s for

    • Prolonged use requirements
    • Users after a set an forget system

  • U.A.P.N.V.G "Chimera"

    U.A.P.N.V.G "Chimera"

    U.A.P.N.V.G "Chimera"

Sale price  £19,904.00 Regular price  £22,115.00

    The most versatile, panoramic system

*Chimeras are in high demand. Please contact for Pre-Order dates and Estimated leads

Polymer pre-order sold out, this listing is quoted for the Magnesium variant now

Four tubes and a 100° field of view give you a picture no binocular can match: you see what’s around you, not just what’s ahead. The trouble with most panoramics is living with them, because they’re heavy, front-loaded and awkward when stowed. The Chimera, the first articulating quad-tube system, was designed to fix that.

Its patented pods fold back towards the helmet, so when stowed it sits with a profile close to a standard binocular. The weight is carried nearer your neck’s natural pivot point, which makes a real difference to comfort over a long night. Each side flips up on its own, so you can clear one eye, get through a doorway or into a vehicle, and drop back into full panoramic view in a second.

Chimers come standard with RPO 4.0 NVD-N lenses. They’re around 30% lighter than standard mil-spec optics, with better light transmission, sharp centre resolution and a generous eye box. The bridge is 7075-T6 aluminium, and the pods are fibre-reinforced polymer.

Every Chimera is built to order by us in the UK: four Photonis tubes, assembled, collimated, nitrogen purged and tested.

    Who it’s for

    • Professionals in complex environments
    • Experienced users ready for panoramic
    • Long-duration wearers
    • Anyone moving in and out of vehicles and buildings

    KEY FEATURES

    • 100° panoramic field of view from four tubes

  • U.A.N.V.B-SC "Raptor"

    U.A.N.V.B-SC "Raptor"

    More Capability, Same Simplicity

The Raptor is for users who want a bit more from their binocular. It adds manual gain and an onboard IR illuminator to Nocturn’s lightweight carbon-fibre platform, and runs it all from a single knob laid out like the L3Harris PVS-31A.

That control layout is the Raptor’s real strength. Turn the knob to brighten or dim the image as conditions change, then double-tap for IR when it’s truly dark; an indicator in the eyepiece confirms it’s on. While IR is on, the same knob sets its brightness. One control to learn, and it handles almost every situation.

It’s also built to grow with you. The optic pods are modular and can be converted to Nocturn’s Talon monocular platform, so a Raptor and a Talon can share parts as your kit grows. Pods switch off when flipped up to save battery, and there’s a LEMO port for an external pack on longer nights.

    Who it’s for

    • Moving up from the Katana: keep the light carbon-fibre build and gain IR and gain control.
    • Mixed-light users: from dark woodland to the edge of town, adjust the image to match.
    • Those already trained on PVS-31A controls: it feels familiar from the first switch-on.
    • Previous Talon owners: start with the binocular and share pods with a monocular later.

    KEY FEATURES

    • Single-knob control, similar to the PVS-31A
    • Manual gain adjustment
    • Onboard IR illuminator with an in-eyepiece indicator and adjustable brightness
    • Modular pods, convertible to the Talon platform
    • Automatic pod shut-off when flipped up

  • Nighthawk-MG

    Nighthawk-MG

    Nighthawk-MG

    £8,730.00

    Every Feature, Machined To Last

The Nighthawk-MG is Steele Industries’ flagship articulating binocular, for users who want everything a modern binocular can offer in a housing that will outlast them. Each one is machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminium and carries Steele’s lifetime housing warranty, so it’s built as a long-term investment rather than a stepping stone.

It’s fully featured without being complicated. Manual gain lets you fine-tune the image as light levels change, the onboard IR illuminator is there when it’s truly dark, and each pod articulates and switches off on its own. Adjustable IPD stops bring it back to your exact eye spacing every time, and an auxiliary power port takes an external battery pack for longer outings.

    Despite the all-metal build, it’s impressively light. Paired with Steele’s MBS-ULR lenses, a complete Nighthawk-MG weighs just 504 g.

    Who it’s for

    • Users who want a do-everything binocular they won’t outgrow
    • Anyone who prefers the strength and feel of machined aluminium
    • Experienced users who want manual gain, IR and articulation in one system
