Buying a night vision device isn't like ordering off Amazon, if it were i would be cautious of quality. If you're coming to NoxWorks expecting next-day dispatch, this post is worth reading before you place an order.
Here's how it works.
Every system we build is configured to order. While you may find a suitable device in our ready to ship section, we don't hold pre-built units on a shelf of every possible configuration. We hold components, which we assemble, test, and thoroughly QC each device before it leaves us. That takes time, and we'd rather be straight with you about that upfront than overpromise and underdeliver.
Current lead times on complete Night Vision builds typically run [4-8 weeks] from order confirmation. That window can move +/- depending on the specific configuration you've chosen, and order volume at the time. Builds specifying 4G or 4G+ and P43 image intensifier tubes should anticipate lead times at the higher end of this range.
A few things that affect your lead time:
- Tube stock. Image intensifier tubes are ordered in scheduled batches against forecast demand, not on a per-order basis. If your order lands between intake cycles, there's a slight wait. That's the reality of sourcing high-spec tubes.
- Component scheduling. Similarly housings, optics, and accessories are planned across an expected order volume in a given period. Most standard components are on hand.
- Build queue. We size our build schedule around realistic throughput, not optimistic promises. Each device is assembled and tested properly before it leaves us, and that work gets done in order.
What we can tell you: once your order is in the queue, we'll keep you updated. No radio silence, no vague "it's on its way" responses. If something shifts we'll tell you before you have to ask.
Night vision done properly takes time... We think that's worth it.
