Sale price £3,745.00 Regular price £3,940.00The Monocular That Doesn’t Quit
AB Night Vision has a reputation for building devices that take serious punishment, and the RVM-14 is the most compact way to get it. Machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminium, waterproof to 20 m and MIL-STD-810H drop tested, it’s built to take a lifetime of hard use. It still weighs around 15% less than a standard polymer PVS-14.
It’s straightforward to use. One rotary knob switches it on and controls gain: it powers up at full brightness and dims as you turn further. The IR illuminator has its own push button, guarded by a raised fence so it doesn’t switch on by accident in a pocket or pouch. A single CR123A runs it for over 70 hours, so battery changes become a rare event.
Manual gain control requires an MGC-compatible tube. Check the tube options above when configuring your build.
Who it’s for
- Anyone wanting a compact, all-metal monocular that will last

MGA
MGA
MGA
£10,715.00Tough enough to trust. Easy to adjust
The MGA takes AB’s proven RNVG-A and adds the one thing experienced users ask for most: manual gain. That makes it the flagship of the AB range, a binocular built to take serious abuse that also lets you fine-tune the image to the conditions in front of you.
AB machine the housing from 7075-T6 aluminium and deliberately make it thicker than it needs to be, so it’s built for a working life rather than a weekend. Control is simple: one knob switches it on at full gain, and turning further dims the image as conditions brighten. The IR illuminator has its own button, fenced to prevent accidental use. On a single CR123A it runs for around 30 hours.
Manual gain control requires an MGC-compatible tube. Check the tube options above when configuring your build.
Who it’s for
- Experienced users who want manual gain in a ruggedised housing
- Anyone who prefers AB’s heavy-duty build over lighter polymer options
- Users who move between very dark and brighter, urban light conditions
KEY FEATURES
- Manual gain control on AB’s articulating ruggedised platform
- Billet-machined 7075-T6 aluminium, deliberately over-built
- Single-knob power and gain
- Fenced IR illuminator button
- In-view IR and low-battery indicators
- Wide interpupillary range: 47 mm to over 80 mm
- Around 30 hours on one CR123A
- Submersible to 20 m

RPNVG
RPNVG
RPNVG
£10,510.00Binocular depth. Panoramic reach.
A standard binocular gives you 40° of view. The RPNVG can give you up to 65°. Its panning bridge lets each pod swing outwards so their views overlap less and spread wider, giving you far more of the scene at once and less need to keep turning your head. Pan back in for a full, overlapping binocular image when you want maximum depth perception.
In typical AB fashion, it’s built to take a beating. The housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, and every point of articulation has been reinforced for impact resistance, making it one of the toughest panning housings available. Controls are just two buttons, one for power and one for the IR illuminator, each guarded by a raised fence so neither switches on by accident.
Who it’s for
- Users who want a wider view without stepping up to a four-tube panoramic
- Anyone wanting the toughness of a machined aluminium binocular
- Those who value simple, glove-friendly controls
KEY FEATURES
- Panning bridge: adjustable field of view from 40° to 65°
- Machined 7075-T6 aluminium construction
- Reinforced articulation points for impact resistance
- Two-button operation, with fenced buttons to prevent accidental activation
- Onboard IR illuminator
- CR123A onboard power, or external pack via LEMO port
- Waterproof to 20 m
- Built-in dovetail mount
