NXW 10Year warranty

NoxWorks Ltd warrants all NoxWorks-assembled night vision devices for a period of ten (10) years from the date of original shipment, guaranteeing the product to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and in accordance with the guidelines set out in this manual.

Housing warranties follow the relevant manufacturer's stated warranty period.

  • Nocturn Industries Lifetime
  • Steele Industries Lifetime
  • Aeon 5 Years

Image intensifier tubes follow the manufacturer's stated warranty period as follows:

PHOTONIS:

  • Photonis Ex Contract/Refurbs 1 year
  • Photonis Echo/Echo+ 1 year
  • Photonis 4G High Gain 2 years

HARDER DIGITAL:

  • 1520-U 1 year

This warranty is transferable. The warranty duration runs from the date of original sale to the original purchaser regardless of subsequent ownership. Every NoxWorks system is individually serial numbered and all components are tracked.

Remedy

In the event of a defect covered by this warranty, NoxWorks Ltd will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product with an equivalent or better alternative. This shall constitute the full extent of NoxWorks Ltd's liability under this warranty and the customer's sole remedy in respect of any such defect. Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Returns & Transit

The customer is responsible for returning the product to NoxWorks Ltd at their own cost and assumes all liability for the safe transit of the product. NoxWorks Ltd accepts no liability for products lost or damaged in transit to us. Return shipping following a valid warranty repair or replacement will be covered by NoxWorks Ltd unless otherwise stated.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Products used other than in their normal and intended manner
  • Products that have been misused, neglected, or subjected to abnormal operating conditions
  • Products that have been altered, modified, or repaired by the customer or any party other than NoxWorks Ltd
  • Products where the original manufacturer has been discontinued and parts or replacement units are unavailable for reasons beyond the control of NoxWorks Ltd
  • Products incorporating Argus components
  • Consignment or clearance items
  • Damage, defects, or failures resulting from fair wear and tear consistent with normal use

Exclusions

NoxWorks Ltd accepts no liability for defects or damage resulting from mishandling, abuse, misuse, improper storage, or improper operation, including use in conjunction with equipment that is electrically or mechanically incompatible with the device, or of inferior quality. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Use of rechargeable batteries where not specified
  • Storage of the device with batteries installed for prolonged periods
  • Battery compartment corrosion resulting from faulty or leaking batteries

Warranty claims falling outside the scope of these terms may be subject to repair, labour, and return shipping charges at the customer's expense.

Image Intensifier Tube Light Exposure Warning

The customer is hereby notified that operation of this device in daylight or under excessive artificial light conditions may cause permanent and irreversible damage to the image intensifier tube. This damage is not covered under warranty.

Whilst all modern image intensifier tubes incorporate auto-gating technology, this protection is designed to withstand nighttime battlefield lighting conditions and does not provide immunity to prolonged or constant exposure to light sources, including but not limited to ambient daylight, weapon sights, and laser radiation. If it is determined during the warranty claims process that damage has resulted from prolonged exposure to excessive light, the warranty will be considered null and void in respect of that damage.

General

This warranty sets out the entire warranty provided by NoxWorks Ltd in respect of this product. No other warranty, whether written, oral, express, or implied, applies to this product beyond the statutory rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable UK consumer protection legislation. Where any term of this warranty conflicts with applicable UK law, that term shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to comply, and the remaining terms shall continue in full force and effect.
